Over the course of 12 months, we got to know the AppDirect team incredibly well. In spending time with Nicolas Desmarais, AppDirect’s founder and CEO, and the AppDirect team, we realised we saw the future of IT and B2B commerce in very similar ways. AppDirect unified software, telecom, and other recurring expenses for 5 million subscribers through 1,000 providers and 10,000 trusted advisors. Firstbase took care of everything in the real world, handling hardware. Together, we thought there was an opportunity to deliver the B2B everything store to thousands of companies even more quickly.
